Abstract
651,078. Stands. CASTELLI CO., F. C. Feb. 24, 1948, No. 5476. Convention date, June 21, 1940. [Class 52 (iii)] [Also in Group XV] A swing or the like frame comprises a cross-head 1 with supporting legs 2 and 3, said cross-head 1 having at each end a pair of webs each with diverging edges secured together face to face between such edges, one of said webs 17 having its inclined edges channeled and coacting with the other of said webs 12 to form sockets with which the ends of said legs make a close slip fit. As shown the hood-like cross-piece is formed from a flat piece of metal cut and welded so that the ends form the webs 12. Welded to these webs 12 inside are webs 17 channelled to receive the legs 2 and 3 and having brackets 19 from which chains 7 supporting the chair 6 hang.
