Abstract

648,606. Polish tins &c. BURDICK, R. V., and BURDICK, Jun., R. V. Feb. 10, 1948, No. 3918. Convention date, Aug. 21, 1943. [Classes 18 and 66] A polish tin &c. has a container body 2 and a lid 1 with indents 12 and 13 resting on the rim 5 of the body enabling the lid to be tilted by pressure at A. The lid has a raised centre 15 and the base of the body has a corresponding recess 7 enabling boxes to be stacked with their peripheries out of contact. The lid may have an arched part 16, a skirt 9 carrying the indents and a flange 10. The base of the body may have annular ribs 6 and 8, the rim 5 may be inturned and the wall may have an annular rib 4 over which the skirt 9 fits tightly.
