[Class 80(ii)] [Also in Group VI] In a continuous-rod cigarettemaking machine (see Group VI), In which a steel conveyer band 7 is rotated on rollers 8, 9, mounted on a frame 23, which can be swung about a pin 26 to inspect the band, the roller 9 is driven by a disconnectible coupling. This comprises a flange 41 carrying a boss 42 in which a pin 43 is fitted. the flange 41 being rotated on a bracket 40 by a sprocket wheel 38. The roller 9 is driven through a flange 45 which has a bevelled edge 47 and two diametral slots 46. As the frame 23 is lifted the pin 43 slides along a slot 46 and to restore the drive the pin 43 is depressed by the bevel 47 and snaps into the first slot 46 it meets.
