Abstract

643,301. Tables &c. DURDY, A. May 25, 1948, No. 14059. [Class 52 (iii)] A table or tray adapted to be mounted on the arm of an armchair comprises a table top, adjustable slides mounted on the underside thereof and legs pivoted to the slides and spring pressed inwardly. As shown the legs or flaps 3 are hinged to slides 4 guided by the table frame 2 the slides 4 being lockable in adjusted position by means of pins 11 and nuts 9 binding on two spaced strips 7. The legs 3 are provided with spring hinges 5, 6 adapted to urge the legs towards one another to grip the arm rest of a chair or the like.
