641,872. Endless-belt conveyers. GIBBS, S. T., WILSON, G. D., WHALLEY, E. H., and BAKER PERKINS, Ltd. Sept. 2, 1948, No. 23175. Addition to 619,657. [Class 78 (i)] The''conveyer of the parent Specification is modified in that the biscuit-engaging surfaces of either or both of the belts 14, 15 are either formed of bristle arranged continuously or in a number of narrow strips, or of a plurality of rubber prongs, tongues or bars. When the outer band 15 only is bristlesurfaced this band diverges from band 14 at A and allows the biscuits to fall therefrom on to the transfer lap 14a, so dispensing with the vibratory devices of the parent Specification. A rotating brush 18 situated above a tray 19 removes any fat which may adhere to the bristles.
