[Class 52 (iii)] A food-warming stand as described in Specification 617,410 has the side and end walls of the heating chamber flanged outwardly which flanges are arranged to project into tubular legs through slots which serve to assemble the walls together and to support the chamber. As shown the walls 6, 7 of the heating chamber have flanges 27 on their vertical edges which flanges enter slots 46 in the tubular legs 1 the length of the slots corresponding to the depth of the walls 6, 7. The flanges 27 may be locked in position within the legs 1 partly by their shape and partly by plugs 29 which may be secured in the legs 1 by screws 30 an extension 31 of which serves to hold in position stops 24. The plugs 29 may extend above the legs 1 and serve to position tubular handles 5. The lower edges of the walls 6, 7 are inwardly flanged at 10 to which a bottom 8, to close the chamber and serve as a support for the heating element 15, is bolted. The upper edges of the walls may also be flanged at 11 the meeting edges of the flanges 11 being closed by a flexible strip, the flanges or parts they support serving as supports for the cooking pots 13.
