635,467. Clamps. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 23, 1948, No. 11238. Convention date, April 24, 1947. [Class 44] [Also in Groups XXIV and XL (c)] A clamping device for a control dial 1 or the like comprises a pair of elongated clamping members 8 disposed in parallel relation and having diverging end portions extending on opposite sides of the dial and an apertured slider 9 movable along the diverging end parts of the members 8 to clamp the dial as shown in Fig. 3, and biased to clamping position by a spring 12. To release the dial for adjustment, the upturned front part of slider 9 is pressed inwardly.
