[Class 99(ii)] A hand-pump for clearing sinks, &c., comprises a metal cylinder a in which is a plunger fixed to a handle g, and a rubber cone b fitted on the end of the cylinder so that its top abuts against a metal ring a<SP>1</SP> welded or soldered to the cylinder, the cone being of such length as to expose “-inch of the cylinder. The plunger comprises a cupwasher secured to a rod e passing through a brass bush d fitted in a plug c.
