Abstract
633,311. Induction heating. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL, Ltd. Feb. 23, 1948, No. 5306. Convention date, Feb. 26, 1947. [Class 39 (iii)] In order to stabilize the frequency and avoid parasitic oscillations in a valve oscillator circuit employed in H.F. induction heating apparatus, the frequency determining coil 3 is provided with an auxiliary coil 9 to step up the impedance of the anode circuit in known manner. The frequency determining coil 3 is divided longitudinally by a metallic screen 11, as shown in Fig. 2, so as to substantially de-couple magnetically, the reaction coil 4 and the auxiliary coil 9 which are placed on opposite sides of the screen 11 as shown in Fig. 2.
