629,934. Strap fastenings. WALKER, Ltd., T., WALKER, T., and WOOD, H. H. Dec. 20, 1947, No. 33704. [Class 44] A fastening for braces or belts comprises two separable parts, one part 1 having a pair of spaced apart pockets 4 and a flange 3 and the other part 1 comprising a cross-bar 8 connected to a frame 5 by a neck part 9 which is adapted to pass between the pockets so that the ends of the cross-bar engage the latter, members 7 of the frame being adapted to engage between the pockets 4 and the flange 3. The flange and parts of the pockets are resilient so that the two parts fasten together with a snap action. The walls 4a of the pockets are also made resilient so that they yield slightly when the neck is forced between them (see Fig. 7) and provide a snapaction.
