Abstract
622,863. Fastenings. CREER, D. R. April 9, 1947, No. 9371. [Class 44] A fastening device comprises two parts, one of which 7, Fig. 4, is adapted to nest within an aperture in the other, 1, Fig. 3, which carries a V-shaped rib 3 to engage in a V-shaped groove 10 in the other. The part 1 has a lipped bridge piece 4 to co-operate with the lip 8 to retain the part 7 in position. The fastener may be used as a stocking suspender, the parts having strap loops 5, 9 at the same end, and the part 7 being a loose fit in the aperture. Alternatively the parts may be used as a strap buckle, the strap loop on the part 1 then being on the other end.
