[Class 64(iii)] A cover or closure for a housing, or (as shown) a recess 5, for a space heater 24 comprises an outer elongated frame 1 adapted to fit the entry aperture to the recess and a plate 11 substantially equal in length to but narrower than the frame 1 mounted with its longitudinal edges spaced from both the upper and lower inner edges of the frame for pivotal movement about a longitudinal axis within the frame. The frame is formed of sheet or extruded metal of channel section the outer walls 7 of the channel abutting against the plaster 8 of the room wall and the inner walls 4, 9 extending within the recess 5. Stiffening ridges 12, 13 are provided at the longitudinal edges and the middle of the pivoted plate 11 and may, for example, be formed by pressing or rolling, that at the middle serving also to guide the air to be heated over the gilled pipe 24.
