627,148. Domestic fire grates. BIRMING- HAM STEEL CO., Ltd., and BAYLISS, J. June 23, 1947, No. 16472. [Class 126] A domestic fire grate of the open type comprises a grate basket 3 inclined with respect to the grate back, a metal reflector 10 mounted underneath the basket and adapted to be oppositely disposed from the back edge of the basket to the front thereof and formed with a plurality of louvre slots 11 therein which permit the ashes and dust from the grate to fall into the ash pan 12, and a reflector 13 mounted above the grate.
