624,045. Collapsable vehicles. TIBBLES, J. H. April 26, 1947, No. 11196. [Class 108 (i)] A collapsable push-chair or like hand - propelled wheeled carriage has the lower end of the handle 1 provided with a plate 4 to which are hinged wheel-carrying members 5, 5 which extend transversely and a wheel-carrying member 10 which extends longitudinally. The members 5, 10 are hingedly connected to levers 8, 21 respectively pivotally associated with a common operating member 9 which is slidable along the handle 1. Also pivotally associated with the block 9 are links 22, 31 which serve to collapse the seat or carrier framework members so that the framework together with the wheel carrying members will closely encompass the handle 1 when the block 9 is moved to its upper position.
