[Class 66] A detachable handle d for a saucepan, or a steamer &c. a with a substantially cylindrical rim c, has an attachment plate e with a claw f fitting closely over the rim c, the lower part of the plate fitting flush against the pan wall. The lower part may slotted to fit around the stem of a knob on the flanged lid i to lift it. In a modification the handle fits a rim differentiated from the pan wall by a groove.
