Surrounding this is a mask G adjustable in position around the deflector, the mask having a single gap so as to direct the water flow in the desired direction. Vanes running fore and aft may be fixed to the deflector to direct the flow mainly in that direction. Specifications 140,985, 187,309, 210,930, [all in Class 114], and 503,593 are referred to.
