618,508. Thermo - electric batteries. OKOLICSANYI, F. Jan. 29, 1946, No 2842. [Class 53] [Also in Group XL (a)] A thermopile 16 is supplied with heat from an atomic pile 38. Annular thermo-electric elements 30, 31 are arranged in pairs with internal and external separating washers 32, 33 and have tags 34, 35 so that heating and cooling fluids flow between tubes 20, 21 through spaces 36, 37 respectively. Adjoining units of the thermopile are connected by threads 22, 23, using gaskets. Specification 588,369 is referred to.
