[Class 36] An electric cable of substantially flat crosssection comprises a plurality of conductors A embedded in insulation B and enclosed in a metallic sheath formed of tapes T1, T2, the tapes being joined by seams extending along the major cross-sectional axis. The sheath D may be crimped transversely to give added flexibility.
