615,712. Lamp chimneys &c. ; lamps &c. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Aug. 23, 1944, No. 16062. Convention date, Aug. 23, 1943. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] [Also' in Group XXXVI] A tubular-lamp fixture (see Group XXXVI) consists e.g. of a tube 65 to the ends of which are secured like fabricated parallel, angular channels 66, 67 carrying the starter and lamp sockets 79, 81. The ballast 87 for the lamps may be secured centrally on the tube. A reflector 89 may be mounted on the channels and secured to the tube by the ball and socket chains 90. In a modification, two parallel tubes 135, 136 carry at the ends the like channels 137, 138 and in an intermediate position a similar channel 139. Supporting lugs 166 are provided on the outer channels.
