[Also in Group XXV] In a door latch of the type in which the handles are pivotally mounted on roses secured to the door and have no fixed connection with the operating spindle, the roses 8, 9 are clamped to the face of the door by screw pins 10 passing through holes 6a in the door 6 and engaging tubular nuts 10a, 11a at each end. The holes in the roses may be of circular or square section. In the latter case the outside nuts 11a are of square section to prevent removal of the outside handle and the inside nuts are of round section.
