Abstract

613,313. Windscreen wipers. TRICO' PRODUCTS CORPORATION. June 18,1946, No. 18286. Convention date, June 19, 1945. [Class 138 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A windscreen wiper blade comprises a channel-shaped holder 16, Figs. 2 and 3, having outwardly extending flanges 17 joined by a longitudinal web 21, an attaching member or fin 11 carried by the holder and having anchoring tongues 22, 23, 24 extending through an opening in the holder and deflected in alternate directions against the underside of the web, and a resilient wiper element 18 clamped between the flanges of the holder, the tongues being clamped between the holder and the element.' The member 11 is seated on the holder by shoulders 26. The wiper blade is assembled by means of a punch with inclined faces (see Group XXII).
