608,680. Endless-track vehicles. GAZDA, A. Feb. 27, 1946, No. 6084. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1944. [Class 79 (i)] [Also in Group XXXIII] The hull 10 of a ship, seaplane float, or the like has a recess in which is housed one or more endless tracks 18, actuated from any power source to move continuously over rollers 17. The endless tracks 18 are formed of rubber or similar material having small ground-engaging projections (Fig. 4, not shown). These rollers may be projected from and retracted into the hull independently or jointly by either hydraulic or mechanical apparatus.
