Abstract

593,490. Knitting-machines. BERRIDGE & CO., Ltd., I. L., and KILBOURN, S. L. Feb. 21, 1945, No. 4328. [Class 74 (ii)] A flat, annular, tricked instrument bed, e.g. a dial or sinker ring, for a circular knitting-machine comprises a base 11 and a series of sectoral units 100 detachably mounted thereon so as to form a complete ring. Each unit has a trick wall 13 at one end and a trick 12 at the other end, the flanks of each unit being tangential to the same side of a base circle, the diameter of which is equal to the width of a trick.
