[Class 142 (i)] Means for adjusting the timing of operation of the heald shafts of looms, of the kind in which the heald shafts are driven through levers m carrying rollers l which are guided in cam tracks k carried by oscillating members e, the parts of the cam tracks that-act upon the rollers at the beginning and endof their movement being concentric with the spindle upon which the members e are mounted, are characterized in that the end portions of the arm tracks k are lengthened so that the extent of the cam tracks is greater than is necessary for the path traversed therein by the rollers l during the oscillation of the members e, and connecting rods f which transmit the driving motion to the members e are adjustable, so that the part of the cam track that acts upon each roller can be readily displaced. The connecting rods f are driven by oscillating levers g to which they are adjustably connected.
