587,913. Piston-rings. JAMESON, J. L. Oct. 12, 1944, No. 23002. [Class 122 (i)] Piston and piston-ring assembly, for use in internal-combustion engines, are of the shapes shown in Figs. 2 and 3. Piston-ring 5 is metallic, with one or more annular recesses corresponding to the stepped shape of the piston 1 and reduced in diameter at 6 to afford efficient lubrication.
