Abstract
587,045. Moulding electrical elements. GARRETT, H. F., and ALADDIN RADIO PATENTS, Ltd. Oct. 10, 1944, No. 19520. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXXV and XL] A high impedance for high-frequency circuits comprises a wire helix d having straight ends b and surrounded by compressed magnetic material c, Fig. 2, which may comprise carbonyl-iron particles of 400 mesh with 7 per cent. of insulation. In manufacture, Fig. 3, the ends b pass into holes in two plungers l, m, and the space f in the mould e is charged with finely divided magnetic material, which with the helix d is then compressed by means of the plungers l, m.
