586,797. Cathode-ray tubes. CHANCE BROS., Ltd., and HOLMES, J. G. Aug. 10, 1944, No. 15266. [Class 39 (i)] In a cathode-ray bulb the front b is joined to the body part a by an annular non-vitreous ring c of curved or angular crosssection. The ring may be of metal, ceramic or synthetic plastic material, and is attached to the glass portions by fusion, by soldering to metallic coatings on the glass, or by the use of a vitreous cement.
