Abstract

582,278. Flexible hoses. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and BOWYER, W. HOLLAND-. Aug. 8, 1945, No. 20255. [Class 99 (ii)] A flexible hose having an inner tube of rubber or like material, layers of textile material stiperimposed thereon and an outer protective covering of rubber or like material such as Neoprene, has its inner tube protected by at least one layer of heat resistant material such as acetylated cotton, a layer of glass fabric and a layer of asbestos fibre. The hose may have a layer of wire reinforcement on the inner tube or between the heat resistant textile material and the layer of glass fibre.
