Abstract
581,051. Mounting terminals. TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO., Ltd., and SPORING, P. A. Aug. S, 1944, No. 15044. [Class 38 (i)] A connecting member comprises a conducting stem 4, having at its ends heads 10, 11 which may take the form of collars, flanges or nuts, passing through a hole in a metal cover 1 for a condenser from which it is insulated by two insulating discs 7, 8 of resin-bonded paper covered with a resilient material 9 such as vulcanized rubber, and located in a recess 2 in the cover. The condenser lead is soldered in the passage 6 in an air-tight manner, and sealing is assisted by the dished inner surface of the head 10. Connection is made outside the cover 1 to a metal tag 13 on a disc 12 in contact with the head 11.
