[Class 36] An electric conductor with a synthetic resin insulation has an outer braiding in which some or all of the strands are pre-impregnated with plasticizer, the surface of the insulation being so softened that the strands become locked into and adhere to the insulation. With a 16-carrier braiding machine, it is suitable to use 4 spools of pre-impregnated cotton strands, two winding in each direction. Specification 564,245 is referred to.
