576,572. Tricycles. TWIGG & CO., Ltd., C., COOKLIN, L., and WESTWOOD, E. A. Feb. 14, 1944, No. 2684. [Class 136 (iii)] A sprung hanger for resiliently mounting the driving axle 17 of a tricycle includes two lugs 26 which are supported on the axle and carry spigot members 29 telescoping against the action of springs 31 housed in short tubes 25 depending from right-angle socket lugs 24 on a transverse tube 19 secured on the seat pillar tube 10. Eyes 27 are cast integrally with the lugs 26 for receiving the brake rods 34 which operate brake shoes (not shown) mounted on back plates 18.
