575,440. Fluid-pressure motors. HEYWOOD COMPRESSOR CO., Ltd., HUNT, J. A., and JAY, J. B. Jan. 27, 1944, No. 22145/45. Divided out of 575,431. [Class 69 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] In a fluid pressure motor for use in remote control mechanism, the piston o is supported by a double-ended seal t, u, held in place at a mid-point of the cylinder by compression springs y, z, controlling movement of the piston. The seal rings abut washers positioned by a circlip v. Distance-pieces w, x form abutments for the springs y, z, of which the former engages a flange 5 on a sleeve 6 having a second flange 7 engaging a rim 8 in the piston, and the latter abuts a washer 2 movable by a collar 3 on the piston extension 4. Fluid supply to the cylinder is controlled by the valve arrangement c, d described in Specification 575,431.
