Abstract

575,113. Ventilalors. GREENWOOD'S & AIRVAC VENTILATING CO., Ltd., and HUGHES, B. D. Feb. 28, 1944, No. 3690. [Class 137] A cabin ventilator fitting comprises two centrally apertured shallow domes 1, 2 flanged together and securing a spider plate 13 which acts as a light baffle and has a rearwardly directed domed centre providing a seating for a mosquito gauze 15 of conical shape. A directional member 8 may be rotatably mounted in the front dome 1 its inner edge being held between the inner edge of the dome aperture and a ring 10 bolted inside the dome. The light baffle may be replaced by a spider frame providing a seating for the gauze.
