Abstract

587,937. Ventilators. ROE, J. J. A. May 18, 1944, No. 9536. [Class 137] In vehicle ventilators having a louvred cover 10 with at least some of the louvres arranged directly over an aperture in the body, a baffle plate 15 is disposed between the aperture and cover and a water collecting channel 17 formed by a flanged tube 14 within the aperture permits of discharge of water through holes 18. Plate 15 which is larger than the aperture obstructs the direct path between any louvre opening and the aperture but permits air to pass freely in either direction.
