[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XI] One of the terminals 18 of an electric water heater of the type in which horizontal electrode plates are carried alternately by supporting rods 12, 13 comprises a stud 18 fitted into a pocket 19 threaded on the rod 19, with a spring 20 between the stud and the base of the pocket. The pocket is arranged within a sleeve 21 threaded into a hole in the cover 7, whereby it is adjustable relatively to the cover. The terminal on the rod 12 is not adjustable.
