Abstract
570,797. Convertible perambulators. PARLETT, R. S.- March 9, 1944, No. 4348. [Class 108 (i)] [Also in Group XIV] A combined child's chair and truck and rocking chair or sleigh comprises a detachable seat 8 resting between curved side frames 1 which form the rockers. To convert it into a truck, wheels 5 on brackets 3 swing down, the brackets being secured by bolts 6 with wing nut heads. A pivoted tray 11 is provided which may come down in front of the child when needed. The tray is mounted on arms 12, extending behind the back 13 of the chair, and are connected at the rear end by a hand rail 14 to help the child to walk. The vehicle may be pushed or pulled from either end by a push rod 15 with a cross handle 16, the push rod being fitted into one or other of the brackets 17 mounted in the middle at each end. The chair can be detached from the framework bv disengaging bolts 9 and lifting it out.
