Abstract
570,595. Walls. McTAGGART, A. M. July 29, 1943, No. 12348. [Class 20 (iv)] A wall-structure consists of concrete posts a each having two sets of channels a<1>, a<2> for inner and outer spaced concrete members which slide into position. The outer members d overlap after the manner of weather-boards; the inner members e may be of openwork surface and lined with plaster board or the like. During assembly a light metal girder i may span the posts and maintain them in alignment. Singlygrooved posts may be used in the interior of the building. The concrete may be reinforced, such reinforcements being used to secure members at the corners or junctions. The roofbeams k are formed with bayonet slots k<1> to take supports l which abut against projections k<2>. Plates m rest between the supports l and are slotted to carry the tiles n. Alternatively L- shaped tiles may engage the members k<2> directly.
