Abstract
569,777. Pulverizing-mills. DALE, H. N. R., and MAXIM ENGINEERING, Ltd. Dec. 3, 1943, No. 20262. [Class 59] In a pulverizing mill in which freely swinging hammers are pivoted between discs mounted with spacers on a driving shaft, the discs and spacers are gripped between an abutment at one end and a cotter at the other. The abutment may be in the form of collar 28 secured to the shaft 16 by a second cotter 29, the other cotter 31 passing through a similar collar 32. The cotters are retained by pins 30, 33. The dises 19 and spacers 20 are further secured by a key 18.
