Abstract

1357170 Impact pulverizers HAZEMAG HARTZERKLEINIERUNGS-UND ZEMENTMASCHINENBAU GmbH 14 Oct 1971 [2 Nov 1970] 47818/71 Heading B2A The beating rotors 10 of an impact pulverizer are rotated by a hydraulic ram 2 having a free end releasably connected to a rotor, and a pivoted end secured to the pulverizer frame, so that beaters 11 can be renewed and replaced or the rotors otherwise serviced. The ram is in each case connected, e.g. by a bolt, to an apertured disc 3, which is keyed on the rotor shaft 4. As described, a single ram is pivoted between two rotors, permitting it to be used with either. Each disc 10 also passes between two arms of a holding member 7 which has a bore extending through both arms so that a pin may be inserted to secure a rotor in position.
