568,923. Stands or stillages. RUBERY OWEN & CO., Ltd., COUPLAND, E., and ARNOTT, D. D. June 11, 1943, No. 9402. [Class 94 (i)] [Also in Group XXX] A stillage, stand, or platform for use in storing and transporting metal sheets and the like, is formed of two thin corrugated steel sheets 11, 12 welded together at 14, 16 with the corrugations of one extending transversely to those of the other. The sides of the corrugations are inclined to facilitate nesting of a number of the stands. When a load of metal sheets is placed on a stand, the whole may be lifted by grappling tools inserted in the holes 17 formed by the corrugations, or a number of sheets may be bound together between a pair of the stands, binding wires being passed through the holes 17.
