Abstract

568,653. Tumbler switches. SCHOLES & CO., Ltd., G. H., SCHOLES, G. H., and PEARCE, F. J. Sept. 23, 1943, No. 15590. [Class 38 (v)] In a change-over tumbler switch, the dolly 25 is pivoted in the neck 23 of a cover 12 which fits over a base carrying three parallel contacts 14, 15, 16 and a contact 29 on the dolly is adapted to connect the centre contact 15 with either of the outer contacts 14, 16. A spring-pressed abutment, not shown, engages the V- shaped lower end of the dolly to provide a snapaction. There may be an additional three contacts on the other side of the base engaged by an additional contact on the other side of the dolly.
