Abstract

567,140. Dish - washing machines. GUNN, A. J., and DOWSING CO. (ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURERS), Ltd. Sept. 24, 1943, No. 15714. [Class 138 (i)] In a dish-washing machine in which a rotating or fixed spraying device is arranged below a basket in a container, the sprayer is connected detachably to the inlet pipe 2 by means of a wing-nut 11 engaging a screwed rod 12 screwed into a fitting 3 in which the pipe 2 terminates. The fitting 3 has an upstanding pipe 4 connected by a washer 10 and elbow 9 and pipe 8 to the sprayer, the rod 12 passing through the elbow 9. The sprayer may be supported from the tank of the machine by means of two brackets and the support provided by the supply fitting, which is formed as a frame conforming to the shape of the tank and has transverse arms to provide the desired number of jets.
