Abstract
564,152. Chain saws. SPEAR & JACKSON, Ltd., and TAYLOR, G. May 14, 1943, No. 7718. [Class 145 (ii)] In a chain saw comprising a central series of links having teeth and outer series of links inter-pivoted with the central series and having teeth on alternate links, the central series runs on the track e of the guide bar f and the outer series overlap and run astride of the track. The teeth on the central links repeat every three .links and comprise raker teeth A, G, right hand set C, I, and left hand set E, K, whilst the teeth on one outer series are all left hand set B, F, J, and those on the other outer series are all right hand set D, H, L. The arrangement provides a zig-zag line of single teeth in the sequence A-L.
