Abstract

563,428. Walls. TODD, S. H. Nov. 19, 1942, No. 16354. [Class 20 (iv)] A wall, roof, floor or other part of a building is constructed of container units of paper, cement, metal or other material impregnated or not with plastic, rubber, varnish, &c., into which concrete or other like filling may be poured, after the units have been erected in their final position on or against one another, holes being provided as desired to enable the filling to flow from one to the other. Each unit has thin outer walls; the exterior of three sides that will not be bounded by adjacent units forming the surface of the wall, roof, &c., while the concrete &c. filling levelled off forms the floor and upper surface of the roof, &c. The outer unit walls OP that are not adjacent to another unit are provided with an inner pressure panel PP attached at two or more edges to the outer wall and being inwardly dished to provide a separating space G between the concrete and the outer wall to prevent deformation.
