Abstract
560,623. Labels. SANGSTER, J. Y. March 3, 1943, No. 3473. [Class 73] A label particularly for wine bottles stored in bins, &c. comprises a metal plate a having a central aperture b across which is stretched an endless elastic band f passing over studs e, 'this band being adapted to engage the bottle neck. The sides of the plate are folded back to avoid sharp edges, the top being folded over a lip of a dished metal strip c, which forms a pocket for the reception of a descriptive ticket, which can be viewed through windows d, d<1>. In another form, the apertured label comprises a sheet of celluloid, wood, &c., each side of which is cut to form ears to which the elastic band is anchored, the label itself carrying identifying matter.
