[Class 75 (ii)] [Also in Groups XV and XXIII] A glass or other transparent globe 10 such as is used for a lamp or illuminated map is formed with a hole 11 to receive a mounting sleeve 12 of transparent or translucent plastic material formed with closely spaced tapering ribs or corrugations 15 extending from a bottom flange 14 along its outer surface. The sleeve is retained in the globe by the compression of the ribs on insertion. A transparent adhesive may be used between the flange 14 and the globe.
