551,454. Lining textile hose. ANGUS & CO., Ltd., G. CANNEY, D. E. F., and BALKIN, M. Dec. 24, 1941, No. 11097/42. Divided out of and addition to 547,821. [Class 95] A method of lining a textile hose 10 with rubber latex or equivalent sealing agent in liquid or plastic form, consists in introducing a quantity of sealing agent 12 into the hose and driving through the hose, by means of air pressure behind it, a cylindrical plug 13 of circular section, which is a loose fit in the hose, the air pressure acting to round the hose to a circular section slightly larger than that of the plug, and the plug acting to spread the sealing agent over the inner surface of the hose to form a continuous lining of uniform thickness. A counter pressure may be introduced in front of the plug, e.g. by means of a roller 16. Specification 9746/97, [Class 95], is referred to.
