[Class 9 (ii)] [Also in Group VI] An otterboard for minesweeping, &c. comprises a board 1 of aerofoil section and of greater height than length, connected to the towing cable directly or indirectly on one side at three or more points. The connecting means may comprise lugs 6 and chains, &c. 8 connected to a ring 10 attached to the cable by a chain &c. 11. The lower and trailing edges may be covered with metal 4, 2 and the lower edge has extra weight 5 towards the forward edge. The edge 2 may have supporting feet 3. In another form, the board is oval and is connected to the cable at three points.
