549,227. Soothing teats. MIDDLETON, F. A. April 1, 1942. No. 4327. [Class 81 (ii)] In a soothing teat comprising a guard 6 having a mouth-piece 1 at one side and a holder or finger-piece 3 at the other, the mouth-piece and finger-piece each comprises a hollow body moulded from rubber or rubber-like material with an outwardly extending flange at its open end, the flanges being secured together to form the guard. The hollow bodies may be moulded on formers by a dipping process and the flanges may be vulcanised together. The finger-piece and mouthpiece together form a single air-tight hollow body.
