Abstract
545,014. Vibration-dampers. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES. Oct. 31, 1940, No. 15932. Convention date, July 24, 1939. [Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group XIX] In devices for regulating, according to barometric pressure, used on aircraft &c. the barometric expansible box or capsule has one end supported on rubber on the engine or other part. In one form the base plate b of the capsule a is connected to the securing plate e by a thick layer d<SP>1</SP> of soft rubber which is fixed to the plates for instance by vulcanizing the rubber to the metal. The plate e is screwed to the engine. In a modification the plate b is provided with a spigot which is forced into a thick rubber sleeve contained in a socket bolted to the engine or other part.
